EHS Specialist

Job Description:

Our EHS consultants offer end-to-end solutions to manage, support, and simplify our clients’ Environmental Health & Safety needs. Services consistently offered include but are not limited to qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments, conducting EHS training, and health & safety program development and project management.

Resolution® EHS works in close collaboration with Clark Testing, which has facilities in Clairton, PA; Buchanan, MI; St Louis, MO; and Parkersburg, WV.

Full-Time Position: Safety & Industrial Hygiene Consulting

Primary Location: Huntsville, AL; Clairton, PA; Buchanan, MI; St Louis, MO; or Parkersburg, WV

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday

Salary: Based on Experience

Education Level: Minimum – Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or Physical Sciences. Preferred – Master’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Safety

Travel: Yes – At least 25%, with short durations exceeding 75%

This position requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience, which can include industrial hygiene, environmental health and/or safety related duties. Consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to a diverse client base in a variety of industries.
  • Conduct industrial hygiene and indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments.
  • Develop and deliver occupational safety training.
  • Evaluate compliance with regulatory agencies including but not limited to OSHA and US EPA.
  • Perform safety/health audits at client locations of varying industries including commercial, industrial, and municipal.
  • Recognize, assess, evaluate, and measure chemical and physical hazards at client work sites.
  • Evaluate safety and health conditions and provide guidance on corrective actions and control measures.
  • Generate technical reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices.
  • Excellent written, oral, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA General Industry and Construction standards.
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis, up to 90%, throughout Alabama and the United States.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and pass annual medical and respirator fit test exams.
  • Willing to work in challenging physical environments.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

COMPUTER ENGINEER

Job Description:

Resolution, LLC is seeking a Computer Engineer to lead the research and development of embedded software targeted at protecting critical systems functions of military aviation platforms. Our goal is to leverage emerging cybersecurity practices and technologies to harden and secure both existing and future systems used in DoD platforms.

The Computer Engineer will leverage expertise in various programming languages, communications technologies, embedded hardware and software, and operating systems to develop solutions ensuring overall cyber survivability and resiliency of military platforms.

This position will join a team of engineers solving challenging problems faced by the DoD in ensuring our national security interests. Much of the work will require independent research and analysis as well as collaboration with other teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Linux kernel and device driver development for embedded hardware
  • Create Board Support Packages (BSPs)
  • Perform hardware/signal analysis and troubleshooting using an oscilloscope or other bus analysis tools
  • Develop IP cores for programmable logic devices
  • Design and develop embedded software applications across various architectures
  • Seek and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Contribute on a small team in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment focused on delivery of results
  • Participate in technical discussions and presentations; describe and summarize complex ideas with clarity; confidently discuss and demonstrate own work

Required Qualifications:

    GMD SYSTEMS ANALYST

    Resolution, LLC is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Ballistic Missile Defense System Analysis and GMD Analysis position.

    Job Description:

    The individual will support Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) by providing Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) analyses of GMD exercises and Real-World Events (RWEs). Analyses provided will be utilized in GMD fielding assessments and Technical Capability Declarations (TCDs).

        Responsibilities:

      • Planning and executing BMDS analyses.
      • Planning and executing analyses to support GMD Exercises and Real World Events (RWEs).
      • Planning and executing analysis in support of GMD fielding assessments and Technical Capability Declarations (TCDs).
      • Responsible for GMD High Fidelity Modeling and Simulation (M&S) receipt, installation, configuration, execution, and post-processing in support of BMDS analyses.
      • Present findings and observations to Boeing engineering and leadership team.

        Additional Details:

      • Provide engineering support for GMD Simulation (GMDSim) installation, execution, and analysis.
      • Script development to automate maintenance tasks and other repetitive actions for analysis.
      • Load and archive run data onto the SQL database.
      • Determine methods and processes for optimizing the usage of computer and server assets in an effort to better leverage available resources for efficient use of time and available network space.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree Plus 2 Years Education, or 4 Years’ Experience, or 4 years combined education and Experience; 3 years total of general and/or specialized experience
    • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment, including government representatives and other contractors and companies
